In the name of Jack Mc Duff: a return by popular demand!
Musicians of absolute technical and artistic stature. We are talking about the members of ORGANIC BREW, a band created especially for JazzAscona 2024 that brings together two hammond players-and longtime friends-Andi Appignani and Alberto Marsico, along with saxophonist and arranger Mirko Roccato, baritone saxophonist Olmo Antezana, trumpeter Daniele Moretto and drummer Luca Guarino. Their music, which moves between Jazz, blues and groove, thrilled the festival audience. Given the human and musical understanding created on that occasion and the positive feedback received last year, the musicians of the group decided to continue the project, consolidating their artistic collaboration through the creation of a record project in Mauro Fiero’s Canaa studios in Losone. The CD is entirely dedicated to the music of the great organist Jack McDuff and will be premiered at JazzAscona 2025. Not to be missed!
