Cult funk band made in Switzerland: The Clients
Seventies black music mixed with contemporary funk for a concentrate of pure energy, pulsating rhythms and music that is always catchy and danceable: this is what The Clients, a cult band of funk made in Switzerland that has been treading the stages of the country (but not only!) with great success for some 20 years now. The richness and complexity of the sound structure, engaging solos and numerous vocal parts characterize the band’s sound. Frontman and leader of The Clients is Dave Feusi, a charismatic saxophonist who has shared the stage with Maceo Parker, Lucky Peterson, P-Funk and other great musicians and who participates in countless musical projects in the soul-jazz-groove sphere, including The James Brown Tribute Show, which also played at JazzAscona in 2024. Joining him on stage are drummer Christian Niederer on rhythm and Thomy Jordi on bass, guitarist Marco Figini and Peter Wagner on keyboards. Ready to dance?
