Hot Jazz heroes in Switzerland: the 60th anniversary of the Wolverines Jazz Band

The Wolverines Jazz Band made its first major public appearance at the 16th Zurich International Jazz Festival in 1966. Although it has changed its components a number of times, the Bernese ensemble is now the longest-running Jazz band in Switzerland, with a repertoire ranging from Dixieland to swing and blues: 60 years of music and passion, with countless concerts, collaborations with artists such as Ben Webster, T-Bone Walker or Ralph Sutton, many television appearances and nearly 30 record productions (the last one in 2022).
Back in 2011 the band celebrated its 50th anniversary at JazzAscona. Chapeau, les musiciens!
