A leap into 1930s Paris to rediscover the allure of “jazz musette”

A journey through the fascination of jazz manouche, with an eye to its origins, to that glimpse of the 1930s when accordionists in Parisian bistros began to join manouche guitarists: not for nothing was the genre originally known as “jazz musette.” Leading this journey are four authentic virtuosos: on the one hand the inseparable guitars of Dario Napoli-one of the most prominent performers in the international context-and Jacopo Delfini, on the other the double bass of Marco Ricci and the accordion of Danilo Boggini, founding members of the Hot Club de Suisse.
