Filippo Valli Quartet, a local band of young promise

Nominated in 2023 for the ZKB Jazzpreis, a major event that highlights young Swiss Jazz talents, Filippo Valli’s local quartet brings together four young musicians who combine their talents to create a fascinating and coherent musical experience: Filippo Valli on sax, Yves-Yann Lavaly on piano, Gianni Narduzzi on bass, and Alessandro Alarcon on drums. Their collective skill and seamless interaction result in performances that captivate audiences by blending traditional and contemporary Jazz, R&B, soul and hip-hop.
The quartet is a first-time guest at JazzAscona as part of the Groovin’ Up program.
