Dixieland revival and tons of swing in the cheerful music staged by Jack in the Box

Founded in 2006, Jack in the Box is a band formed by experienced musicians that, in the past years, have accumulated a stylish and interpretative baggage that summarizes their passion for traditional jazz, dixieland and swing. Their repertoire includes classic pieces amongst the most known, performed at brilliant standards. The sound researched is that of the Dixieland orchestras of the ‘50-’60 (Eddie Condon, Bobby Hackett, Alex Welsh, and of the last era of Louis Armstrong), which, maintaining a classic Jazz repertoire, have evolved in time towards a more interpretative style (Dixieland Revival) with more modern themes and improvisations. The atmosphere created by Jack in the Box is intense and engaging thanks to the great expressive power of the solo artists and the cheerful and easy listening music.
