Young talents: here again is Niccolò Rizzi and the LOW FiVE
Last year the young trumpeter Niccolò Monté Rizzi had participated in JazzAscona with his group LOW FiVE, a fine quintet formed by young students from SMUM in Lugano who had offered us an inviting repertoire drawn from the endless American songbook (but not only!), interpreted with freshness and personality. Niccolò and co. now return to the festival as part of the Groovin’ Up initiative, a section of the festival dedicated to young talents under 25.
