MANON MULLENER

Manon Mullener, the young pianist from Fribourg between Jazz and Latin musicality

Manon Mullener is a 24-year-old pianist from Fribourg. Coming from a family of musicians, she started playing the piano at the age of 4. A student at the Hochschule für Musik in Bern and passionate about Latin music, Manon recorded her first album, Reflejos, in 2019 in collaboration with Peruvian pianist Cesar Correa and percussionist David Stauffacher.  In 2022, the artist founded the Manon Mullener 5tet, the first project under her own name.

A versatile pianist, Manon is comfortable in many styles of music, which has led her to be active in a variety of projects, such as the Orchestre des Jeunes Jazzistes de Fribourg, the Blue Sphere trio, Nueva Orquesta and Fab and the Gang, Nicole Johänntgen’s Robin, among others.
